Magnesium and Vitamin D Work with Calcium
Magnesium, calcium and phosphorus function together in bone formation, muscle contraction and nerve transmission.
Magnesium is very alkaline and helps maintain the body’s proper pH. (5).
Some research shows that magnesium supplementation is effective in treating osteoporosis. (2)
Vitamin D is added to Coral Calcium because calcium absorption also depends upon the presence of adequate amounts of vitamin D, which works with the parathyroid hormone to regulate the amount of calcium in the blood. (6)
Vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium from the intestinal tract and the breakdown and assimilation of Phosphorus, which is required for bone formation.
Vitamin D is necessary for normal growth in children. Without it, bones and teeth do not calcify properly. (6)
